Job Description

Essential Functions:

The Global B2B Acceptance Products team within VCS has responsibility for commercial products and solutions that increase acceptance globally. It is responsible for developing the strategy, products & solutions and go-to-market approach for key VCS B2B product priorities. The Senior Manager, B2B Acceptance Products is responsible for:

  • The development and launch of key acceptance solutions that improve the merchant experience.
  • Influencing the strategy and feature roadmap of B2B Acceptance products and capabilities.
  • Driving go-to-market, sales enablement and the operational readiness aspects of product sales.
  • Working cross functionally with partners from pricing, technology, account management teams, operations, client services to launch new products.
  • Playing a crucial role in interfacing with various technology teams and business stakeholders to identify requirements, converting them to functional specs, prioritizing, and driving execution using agile methodologies.
  • Representing the Visa customer within engineering teams - clarifying customer needs and influencing design and priority appropriately.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
• This is a hybrid position that will require experience across both product management and product development disciplines.
• Demonstrating ownership and effective communication (both verbal & written) are some of your strongest characteristics.
• You know payments and understand the challenges our customers & partners face in the B2B space.
• You are passionate about solving problems and apply commonly used frameworks to solve them.
• You have a mind for business and a soul for technology.
• You can influence strategy and drive execution.
• You prioritize capturing Voice of the Customer and only build products that fill a business need.
• You are an effective storyteller who is skilled in creating presentations and presenting complex topics in simple ways.
• You have experienced the nuanced complexities of launching products outside of the US.
• You can also dissect a data file, read file specs and are comfortable authoring both technical documentation and marketing collateral.
• Experience in the Agile methodology, ceremonies, artifacts and systems are must.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 125,500.00 to 163,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
