This position is responsible for managing the FP&A process for Int'l Consumer Products organisation. It requires an autonomous individual to manage various partners around the world, both internal within CP and to the wider corporate finance organisation. To manage licensing revenue consolidation and reporting of the full International CP P&L, monthly for actuals/forecasts, and annually for budgeting/LRP.
The role also entails management duties of the Senior Finance Analyst as expense support.
What will you be doing?
- Preparation of revenue reconciliation files for month end, forecasting, and budgeting with calculation of relevant participations and other direct fees. Reporting updates internally to the wider CP finance team showing true-ups and downs as well as other monthly revenue impacts and trends
- Manually calculating and tracking our agent and broadcaster commissions expense across numerous markets, all with varying terms and criteria
- Liaison with financial controllers to ensure correct monthly revenue and participations recognition. Coordinates and submits journal entries with accounting to correct accruals or other issues arising through the year.
- Managing Longview loading of monthly/annual P&L updates, and variance analysis reporting to corporate finance. Several submissions are due each month including 2-3 variance templates, R&O templates, etc.
- All manual market allocations needed to be loaded each month as a requirement by accounting to report revenues by location.
- In the interim until an Analyst is onboard, updating Monthly marketing reports across 20+ markets capturing transactional level data of spend and then summarising it to various leadership teams. Not only tracking the spend that comes through but then updating any forecast changes from the teams across 20+ different marketing files.
- Working closely with the Senior Analyst to help them effectively carry out their duties and reach team goals ultimately to provide timely pacing updates on expenses to the business partners, and to collate and report on expense planning updates.
- Creating new marketing codes as needed and helping the team's trouble shoot issues that arise with PO/Invoice processing.
- Managing preparation of internal global expense reports, in liaison with US CP finance manager, to provide the business insights into plans that help support revenue targets.
- T&E reporting across the senior leadership team, running and tracking actuals each month and then updating 15+ reports for the various hubs/markets and SLT
- Quarterly reporting requirements to the Participation, and wider Paramount Studio teams.
- Continual improvement ideas to enhance any reporting methods and output.
- Supporting ecommerce team with how much digital spend is tracking across teams and future projections
- Adhoc projects as they arise from the business.
- Solid working knowledge of financial analysis, planning and management reporting.
- Strong systems experience, proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Longview systems as an advantage.
- Experience in a similar role/ industry/ International organisation.
