About the role:
We are looking for a motivated, highly organized, A-player who loves a fast paced, high performing environment. Working within Marketing, this role will work closely with teams across Field Marketing to support our field initiatives with unique content and tailored materials that contribute to the program’s success.
Samsara participates in a variety of events and programs, large and small, that help generate new business for the company. These initiatives can include trade shows, executive briefings and our annual customer conference, Samsara Beyond. We are looking for an agile marketer who can work closely with teammates across functional areas and across marketing and sales to improve the impact of our programs and target high-value deals.

In this role, you will:
- Own content creation for third party industry events and Samsara proprietary events. You must be agile, creative and comfortable writing in different formats including keynote presentations, collateral (like one-pagers, etc.), email, landing page copy and sales enablement tools.
- Develop deep customer and product knowledge and incorporate this knowledge into Samsara’s content offering for various events. You will be the go-to resource for the Field team for creating competitive and compelling content to match the audience and format for various event programs.
- Own and support content workstreams for our annual customer conference, Samsara Beyond. Provide project management support to content creators while driving towards best-in-class content development for our growing customer base.
- Produce custom written content for the specific needs of enterprise prospects, and provide messaging guidance to teammates across sales and marketing.
- Work closely with cross functional partners (PMM, Customer Marketing, Design) to create high quality final assets all while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Understand Samsara’s brand and collaborate on and contribute to developing overall event experiences that reflect it.
- Bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to build a successful content program.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 3+ years in related roles such as product marketing, content marketing or solution marketing
- Ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong executive presence and self-assured executor
Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.
We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.
