Overview

As an Associate on the team, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting Sales Specialists to meet the agreed sales and revenue targets within Cash Management, across a portfolio of Large, US-Based, Multinational Corporations. Additionally, you will support senior management with special projects related to reporting and strategic developments of the Business. As you grow in your role, you will acquire deep knowledge about clients, industries, and cash management products and solutions through research and consistent contact with internal and client resources. Depending on experience and maturity, you may be the communicating with the client on a consistent bases for standard sales needs.

What You'll Do
  • Assist in the sales, solutioning, marketing, and management of Deutsche Bank's global cash management services to our corporate clients; help drive profitable revenues for the Firm that stay within the organization's risk tolerance; develop familiarity with sales officers' clients and industries
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of cash management products and services and understand linkages to covered industries
  • Help identify new business and product development requirements based on markets needs and competitor offerings/pricing; participate in and contribute to strategic initiatives to grow market share in targeted industries; prepare client proposals and presentations, work with stakeholders in various departments in a team environment; perform client calls including call prep, call reports, and call follow-up
  • Liaise with key business partners including coverage bankers, operations, customer service, implementation, and product management to ensure client and business objectives are met; assist with portfolio management planning including client plans, pipeline reporting and revenue tracking
  • Manage compliance related matters for Cash Management clients by interfacing with client as well as internal compliance group; attend internal Learning and Development Sales Classes; based on experience, manage a small portfolio of existing and prospect clients - expected to meet revenue targets
  • Leverage systems and software to better understand the client and direction of the CCM relationship

Skills You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven relevant experience within cash management or treasury services; expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard MS Office software; strong editing and research skills
  • Positive attitude - a "get it done" mentality; strong organizational skills; effective time management skills
  • Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written); Communication clearly and concisely, both written and spoken
  • Ability to function well independently and as part of a team; ability to bring together internal resources to meet client needs; strategic and broad thinking regarding clients and innovative ideas

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $80K to $125K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
