Senior UX Researcher

Location: Ottawa, Canada-Hybrid

As a Senior User Experience Researcher, you will be responsible for leading research programs that guide the design and development of delightful and meaningful experiences for our users. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence and shape the experience of our product!


As a key player in our dynamic UX design team, you will guide our research team to explore the boundaries of what our enterprise solutions can achieve, ensuring our product is not only functional but also innovative, intuitive, and transformative for our customers.

You’ll get to do things like

  • Champion a user-centered design approach across the organization, advocating for user needs and inclusive design principles.

  • Drive the end-to-end research process, ensuring that the product team has access to important customer insights.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate research findings into actionable design strategies.

  • Adopt a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Design Thinking principles to refine our products and processes.

  • Analyze and present research findings to stakeholders at all levels, guiding product strategy and decision-making.

  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the growth of our UX research practice.

  • Learn and apply UX research trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.


You’ll need the following

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in user experience research, psychology (experimental, social, cognitive), sociology, anthropology, human computer interaction, human factors, or equivalent.

  • 5+ years as a UX researcher or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

  • Advanced analytical skills to make sense of complex data and critical thinking to interpret data in a way that informs design decisions.

  • Expertise in facilitating workshops.

  • Familiarity with agile UX methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills to effectively communicate research findings.

  • A creative and strategic mindset.

The ideal candidate is a passionate champion for the user, with a proven track record of leading a team to deliver innovative, user-centered solutions.



  • Experience with remote user testing tools.

  • Experience working with complex enterprise cloud SaaS applications.

  • Hands on experience with agile UX Design Thinking practices.
