Senior FP&A Analyst

We're looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our FP&A Operations Team in Łódź, Poland.

Global FP&A SCM is responsible for providing analysis and improvements of performance for logistics costs IWD (transport, warehousing, duties) and inventories. The focus is on delivering required actionable insights based on standard and non-standard reports according to Standard Customer Offers. Activity picks are during month end closure and forecast where drivers for performance need to be understood and compared to last year, forecast, and target. Forecasting of IWD cost and global inventory is one of the main responsibilities of FP&A in close cooperation with SCM Function and BP, not only in building and maintaining a model but also input collection and analysis to help understand changes vs target and previous forecast, etc.... Moreover, this global responsibility position supports strategic processes and target shaping and embedding processes.



This position leads, organizes, and controls the work of 3-5 teammates of FP&A Analysts dedicated to FP&A SCM activity and owns a series of standard reports in SAC, BPI, and Excel.

Important is that the person in this position should be open to potential relocation to the Netherlands (local contract).

In this position, you will:
  • Help to understand financial aspects and measures that impact P&L and BS perspectives.
  • Maintain month end closure reporting.
  • Maintain standard FC and TGT processes.
  • Analytics on logistic costs drivers and inventory levels including obsolete. Collaboration with Supply Chain on answering "why" questions.
  • Understanding drivers and suggesting improvements impacting logistics costs on IGM performance.
  • Develop and execute robust financial models to support short and long-term strategic planning for SCM (Modelling, scenarios).
  • Analyze key financial metrics, trends, and variances, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of SCM costs, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the end-to-end supply chain and its impact on financial performance to deliver actionable insights.
  • Supporting BP to develop targets and rolling forecasts.
  • Raise timely flags on potential issues.
  • Able to lead and influence others without direct authority.
  • Adopt and maintain changing priorities.
  • Able to think strategically and contribute to the development of business strategy.
  • Cultivate a positive and collaborative team culture, provide clear direction, and set performance expectations.
Your qualifications
  • Fluent communication in English in all aspects including translating complex elements into easily understood models.
  • Ability to grasp and deep dive to find root cause and translate it into actionable insight.
  • Experience in SCM / Finance dependency.
  • Understanding SCM goods flow and its impact on financials.
  • MS Office on an advanced level.
  • High communication skills.
  • Finance background (Master's degree minimum, ACCA or MBC will be appreciated).
  • Power BI knowledge will be perceived as a nice value add.
