Atlassian helps teams everywhere change the world through the power of software, and we are looking for a well-rounded Senior Engineering Manager for Atlassian's Trust Engineering team. This team is responsible for building and operating mature software systems to improve the company's security posture.
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be a technical leader and people manager, guiding the team to technical decisions for production services, helping prioritize and organize the team's work, and providing career growth and mentorship opportunities to your team.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $190,500 - $253,900
Zone B: $171,400 - $228,500
Zone C: $158,100 - $210,800
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Basic Qualifications
- A track record of delivering projects on time, in scope, and within quality goals in an Agile environment
- 3+ years of software development experience, not necessarily writing code
- 5+ years managing and growing engineers and/or managers
- Experience providing feedback and coaching engineers
- Excellent interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience building SaaS software with a focus on operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scalable, high-performance systems that are highly available
- A strong understanding of how to use metrics to guide technical decisions
- Familiarity with security systems would be a huge bonus
