What you will be doing

This role will be on a fixed term contract for 12 months for Maternity Cover.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build relationship with the customer teams and work in partnership to understand the requirements and business objectives
  • Work with the product teams on functional and non-functional solutions in a collaborative manner to solve problems in the most efficient way
  • Provide coaching and support to junior BAs
  • Lead business analysis activities for the product team;
  • Co-ordinates with the solutions architect to shape up projects, features and solutions
  • Plan and run the discovery phase that enables creative solution development to meet customer requirements today and scale for future opportunities
  • Manages the backlog, epic Kanban, planning collateral and ensures that the 'definition of ready' are met
  • Creates user journeys, wireframes, epics, user stories and engineering tasks with the teams to ensure implementation details are clear.
  • Execute show and tells for IVC team, MWI product and operational teams
  • Collaborates across the product team to provide clear view of what enterprise capability/features are being delivered
  • Works with the operational teams to ensure smooth transition and business readiness e.g training, customer support
  • Drives best practice with the teams
  • Implement rapid discovery approach that elicits requirements e.g lo fi prototyping
  • Documents non functional requirements from the customer perspective
  • Create a positive team culture across the remote groups
  • Understand and comply with job relevant Companies Practice Standards at all times.
  • Understand the Companies standard operating procedures and attend training sessions as appropriate.

Experience, skills and knowledge requirements:

  • 4+ years experience working as a business with multi-disciplinary development teams;
  • Experience building B2B solutions (cloud a big plus);
  • Experience running parallel workstreams;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable communicating risks and running governance
  • Agile product delivery experience

Desirable:

  • Customer facing role in a professional services environment
  • User experience and user interface skills
  • Technical background or experience.
  • Business Analysis; ISEB training course
