Overview
In a period of ever-increasing regulatory scrutiny across the banking industry, regulatory management is critical to safeguarding the integrity and reputation of the Bank and ensuring that regulatory requirements are met. The Regulatory Management Group (RMG) was established to manage Deutsche Bank's relationships with the US regulators across the FRBNY, NYDFS, FDIC, OCC, CFPB (the Prudential Regulator), SEC, FINRA (including exchanges under FINRA remit), CFTC, NFA, CME, CFE, and ICE. RMG partners with divisional functions and businesses to synchronize regulatory engagements and holistically manage supervisory initiatives with all of the regulators in the US. RMG's mission is to safeguard the integrity and reputation of the Bank while promoting a culture of compliance with key supervisory and regulatory priorities, applicable rules, and best practices. RMG's key role is to manage and foster balanced and strategic regulatory relationships, coordinate, and manage regulatory examinations, inquiries and remediation efforts and communicate supervisory priorities.

What You'll Do
- Negotiate and maintain effective prioritization and strategic delivery in the face of completing goals, obligations, and responsibilities of each business area
- Drive/support multiple team-wide priorities including delivery of reporting, management information and leadership briefing
- Manage/support regulatory exams, inquiries, deep-dives, and other in-depth reviews across regulators. Adopt R&EM best practices and protocols across all exams, inquiries, deep dives, and in-depth reviews
- Contribute to internal R&EM US report for input into various regional and global forums
- Add regulatory findings, requests, meetings in centralized repository, assist in regulatory notifications and execute thematic Data Analysis across supervisory themes
Skills You'll Need
- Moderate relevant work experience within the banking / financial services industry with strong knowledge of financial markets and risk management
- Understanding of Fixed Income, Wealth Management, Risk BSA/AML/OFAC, and Compliance preferred. Regulatory background is a plus. Former regulator and / or supervisory experience even better
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Very strong MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access skills and the ability to adapt to new technology to leverage for management reporting
- Strong business writing skills with ability to communicate complex ideas simply and convincingly, ask insightful questions, break analytical challenges into workable components, and draw meaningful conclusions
- Ability to lead detailed regulatory exams and provide advisory to internal functional heads on regulatory matters pertaining to these areas
- Savvy interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and influence colleagues at all levels of the organization and navigate with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
- Highly motivated, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, possessing follow through, ability to manage, monitor, track, and clearly communicate progress on multiple projects
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
