About the role:
This role delivers quality care to patients on Oscar’s platforms via phone and messaging. This role will serve as a supervising physician to other Advanced Practice Providers.
You will report into the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $99 - $149 per hour for patient consults. The monthly supervision stipend is $1,000.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
- Provide medical care virtually (both by phone and message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
- Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Board-certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Must be licensed in CA, TX, and GA
- 3+ years experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice.
Bonus points:
- 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
- Compact physician license
- Fluent in Spanish
- Licensed in OMG states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, VA
- Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)

Pay Transparency:
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
