Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption. Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.
Job Description
We are seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist to join our Urology Team at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers located at 353 E. 68th Street in Manhattan.
You will:
- Perform US Prostate scans and Transrectal Ultrasound (TRUS) biopsy procedures.
- Efficiently manage patient scheduling and flow to ensure a smooth operational process.
- Provide vital assistance in various clinical procedures and data management.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of operation.
You have:
- Graduated from an approved Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) School of Ultrasound is required.
- ARDMS registered in Abdomen required & RVT preferred.
- 2 years relevant experience or more preferred
Hours:
- Variable shifts 8am-6pm Monday - Saturday; potential shifts during the week and holidays, as needed.
Pay Range: $60.00-$65.00/hr.
