We’re looking for a capable Marketing Communications Manager who will be responsible for executing Hatch’s press and earned media strategies to grow the product and the brand. This includes building out Hatch’s press and communications strategy, leading product-related communications, and supporting the Hatch Growth team’s performance marketing efforts by increasing awareness of the Hatch brand through earned media. This wide-ranging role will provide you with an incredible foundation to grow, as you will be managing campaigns, measuring the performance, and analyzing the results to see if these initiatives ultimately contribute to growth at Hatch.

Job Description

  • Lead media outreach efforts on behalf of Hatch to gather press coverage, secure partnership opportunities, and grow awareness around the Hatch brand
  • Manage product-related communications, driving the conversation around the Hatch platform and features updates
  • Collaborate with content marketing and social media managers to ensure consistent messaging across channels
  • Expand and maintain Hatch’s relationships with journalists and partners across relevant sectors
  • Develop new channels such as non-profit partnerships and event sponsorships
  • Serve as the direct point of contact for media and partnership opportunities


  • 3-5 years experience working in communications strategy and execution
  • Relevant interest and/or experience in FinTech and mobile software
  • Familiarity with all things growth marketing: customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative approach in storytelling with a passion for unearthing testing and iterating on new channels
  • Strong leadership skills and self-motivatedStrong communicator and ability to adapt in a rapidly-evolving space
  • Ability to develop, manage, and scale media programs from end-to-end
