Job Description
The Diversity Program Lead role is the primary lead to develop, coordinate, and oversee the operational strategy, planning implementation and evaluation of global patient diversity for assigned therapeutic areas. The Diversity Program Lead will work in close collaboration with multiple cross functional stakeholders to author, develop, and implement the diversity action plan and monitor the deliverables to drive diverse enrollment.
The Diversity Program Lead will align with the clinical trial team to define diversity enrollment goals and implement targeted approaches with regular oversight to provide progress and feedback to trigger additional actions where needed to ensure the representation of populations impacted by the disease evaluated are enrolled in the trial.
The successful candidate will require a high level of cross functional collaboration, project management and effective communication skills. Strong knowledge in clinical trial operations and execution, deep understanding of the barriers to diverse participant enrollment and develop initiatives to overcome and build standards, best practices in community outreach / diverse participant engagement. The Diversity Program Lead team also has the responsibility to own relevant process and training document(s) associated with Diversity and Inclusion in Clinical Trials (DICT).

- Accountable for DICT deliverables with oversight throughout clinical trial program
- Partner externally/internally to define key initiatives related to DICT.
- Develop subject matter expertise in DICT to represent the business both internally/externally.

Required
- Minimum of five plus years (5+) in clinical research development with a deep understanding of clinical trial design and operations, clinical research site management, patient enrollment and retention
- Proven experience working successfully in a matrix organization.
- Ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities across a multitude of opportunities based on business analysis and customer research, and to develop a structured approach to drive execution.
- Principled and outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Challenges status quo. Understands the need and can adapt to different cultures and markets.
- Excellent overall business acumen and strong analytical skills
- Strong ability to network, connect and collaborate with multiple functions across the company.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Please note, this Hybrid work model guidance also does not apply to roles that have been designated as "remote".
Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$149,400.00 - $235,100.00
