KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our Audit Growth practice.


Responsibilities:
  • Drive planning, development, and execution of a local GTM strategy, acting as a strategic partner to the BUPIC in managing the business unit's (BU's) pipeline of target client accounts
  • Build the knowledge base and credibility required to act as the "eyes and ears" of the audit BU; enhance growth continually through adopting best practices for strengthening the firm's relationships with target clients and with a wide net of key stakeholders within target organizations
  • Lead in the development and management of opportunity pursuit plans for target clients, including comprehensive coaching of pursuit teams in executing growth plans, preparation for significant client interactions and events, and development of relevant collateral and/or proposal responses in response to client requests
  • Serve as a central resource for pursuit leading partners and teams on formal proposal efforts, helping to drive content creation and design, to connect the dots across support teams and firm assets, and to coach teams on pursuit best practices and market trends
  • Manage efforts to leverage data analytics and other marketplace observations as front and center in development of the BUs GTM strategy and related tactics for progressing new client opportunities throughout the sales cycle
  • Apply leadership competencies in identifying new opportunities for locally based growth professionals to collaborate across other Business Process Group (BPG) functions and disciplines to drive added value and insights for local leaders and professionals; lead by example in driving the creation and execution of a workstream or special project(s) aligned to national Audit Growth and firmwide priorities
Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent combined experience in any of the following areas: marketing, sales enablement, business development, project management, and client service experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Strategic and creative thinker with strong written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed, highly collaborative, and fast-paced environment; excellent trouble-shooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to quickly establish rapport and credibility with Partners and professionals and bring an advanced understanding of business and relationship development; preferred experience with Miller Heiman and other relationship development methodology
  • Independent, self-starter who is extremely motivated to provide hands-on tactical support to the BU (Partners, Managing Directors, and Managers) with a strong client service mindset; capability to virtually collaborate with peers across the firm to leverage best practices and share learnings
