As a Senior Customer Service Associate on the USB, PRT - Participant Relations Team, you will act as an advocate for our customers. A member of this team processes a variety of high-volume transactions with the goal being to promote a seamless experience to the customer with accuracy and timeliness.

The responsibilities of the position include:

  • Review incoming research requests and respond to annuitants in writing or by phone according to our procedures.
  • Review, analyze and prepare reports based on data obtained from team performance.
  • Assist in daily workflow activities to ensure timely completion of cases.
  • Build relationships with other business partners.
  • Assist our Contact Center by handling inbound phone calls from customers, as needed.
  • May lead and participate in special projects as needed.
  • Act as an SME for various process flows.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Some addition qualifications for this role:

  • BS degree or minimum of 1-2 years of equivalent work experience
  • Experience within a transaction processing environment, where quality and productivity standards need to be met, is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Successful attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.
  • Strong decision making/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to disseminate and analyze data.
  • "Can Do" attitude.
  • Flexible, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a standout colleague.
  • Computer proficient - accurate keying skills and Microsoft office skills, specifically Excel and Word.

Additional Requirements:

This position will work virtually, therefore new hires must be able to provide the following:

  • Subscribe to internet service provider plan with at least 25 Mbps download speeds. You must be willing to troubleshoot any issues or outages with your home internet service, contacting your service provider as necessary.
  • Must have the capability to handle calls with a cell phone (would need to have unlimited data and minutes) or a landline. Your personal phone number will not be identified to customers.
  • Quiet area in your home with minimal distractions and noise free.
  • Reliability and Dependability throughout our extensive training program is required

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $41,100.00 to $61,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
